Experience A Magical Christmas Community Fair this Sunday 8th, 2024!

We missed out on our annual Christmas event last year due to the unexpected weather in December, but this year's Christmas Community Fair promises to the be BIGGEST one yet! We've been waiting for almost 2 years to celebrate this wonderful community event with you all, and we're busting at the seams with excitement to show you what we have planned! This event is proudly supported by the City of Prospect, so whether you have been naughty or nice, come down to Prospect to say hello to Santa and join our vibrant Christmas festivities!
We are excited to share the Christmas in Prospect Community Fair will be held at Blackfriars School for the very first time!
We are thrilled to host this vibrant event on their beautiful, grassy school grounds along Prospect Road! It's been a wonderful opportunity working with them for the last few years!

Get Ready For A Vibrant Session of Festive Fun at our Sunset Christmas Fair!

​SANTA'S SPECTACULAR ARRIVAL in a vintage car, & accompanied by Lucy Hood MP & SA motorcyclists. Witness the lighting of our beautiful 12ft Christmas tree by our Mayor, Prospect Councillors and a special guest! A TRADITIONAL LIONS DANCE proudly sponsored by our locals Viva Institute, will be preformed, bringing good luck, and happiness to those at our event!

Explore our TOUCH A TRUCK area from 2-6pm. A chance for everyone to explore our essential vehicles, like the Hidden Disability Sunflower Fire Truck, police vehicles and St Johns Ambulance. Low sensory hours are from 2-4.

From handcrafted goods, art, homewares, clothing, bespoke jewellery, delicious baked treats & craft gin/beer, there's a chance you'll find a perfect SA made Christmas gift for your loved ones.

Hi, I'm Stephanie. Local & small business owner in Prospect and active with engaging with events in my community for 10 years. Christmas is clearly my favourite time of the year! It's been an honour to bring a Christmas event each year for my community since 2018, and humbling to receive ongoing support from the City of Prospect with such positive responses from my community.
One of the many things that I love about Christmas events, is the opportunity to connect with more of my locals, to continue to reach out those who are particularly doing it tough financially or emotionally through a season that can be one of the joyous for some, but can silently be one of the most difficult times for many too. It is never to early to start decorating, bringing in more light to the world, seizing a moment to create joy and cheer for others.

Coming from a large ethnic family, we know how to celebrate & enjoy the spirit of Christmas! Having coordinated the Prospect Rd Autumn Fair, marketing campaigns for local shopping centres involving celebrity chefs, and organising events for my social media "Tempting Palates", I am thrilled to be part of the Christmas in Prospect Community Fair & can't wait for the party!
Hi, I'm Mez (Steph calls me "Mel"!?) and a Prospect local for 10 years! Christmas is my favourite time of year. It's a season of giving, where the act of giving brings happiness and smiles from those you love, and to the ones you meet along the way. Christmas bring joy and brings people together.

Their contributions make this community Christmas event flourish, enabling us to support our Prospect Traders, involve more of our community, boost tourism to our little City, and foster community spirit and pride each December. Meet your local Gym, Powerhouse Gym, established in Prospect since 1976. They have been building a stronger community for over 4 decades, with a strong commitment to connecting with their community. Stephanie the owner, continues to give back to others, with the Christmas in Prospect event her most generous non for profit contribution to the Prospect community.
Meet our wonderful Prospect Lions Club. A 100% volunteering service group of women and men who have been generously giving their time to help others in their local and surrounding community since 1963. They generously give their time to raise support for charities & causes like: Mary Potter, Yarrow Place, Sir Charles Bright Scholarship, Lions Childhood Cancer foundation, Operation Flinders, Food on the Table and so many more projects.
